Standard Return Policy

There are a few important things to keep in mind when returning a product you purchased from the TriTones Online Store:

  • You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
  • Returns are subject to a maximum of 15% restocking fee. You will be notified of any restocking fee that applies to your order when you request a Return Authorization ID.
  • Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is being returned due to a manufacturing effect. In such case we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label.
  • Custom-built products are ineligible for return.

How to return an item

Request a Return Authorization ID for your return by contacting us within 14 days from the date of delivery. It's OK if we receive your return past 14 days but it is important that you initiate your return within 14 days.

Once TriTones receives your request we will provide you with a Return Authorization ID, inform you whether any restocking fee is applicable to your order, provide you with a return address.

Depending on the item that you are returning you might be required to ship it to TriTones warehouse or directly to the manufacturer. That's why we ask you to not ship anything back without an authorization.

If you are returning your order due to a manufacturing defect TriTones will provide you with a pre-paid return label. In other cases you need to purchase postage at your local carrier's office or on their website. You can either schedule a pick up with the carrier or drop off the package at any of the carrier’s locations.

Please ensure that the item you're returning is repackaged securely with all accessories and documentation that were included when you received it.

We strongly recommend that you purchase shipping insurance and request a trackable Shipping Method.


Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:

  • If you paid by PayPal, credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned item. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
  • If you paid with a bank wire transfer, money order, cashier’s check or other cash equivalent, you will be refunded in the form of a check from Apple, which will be mailed to your billing address. Please allow about 10 days to receive your check from the time we receive you return. International customer ineligible for a check refund need to contact us for further instructions.
Your refund amount will exclude any restocking fee and original shipping charges.
